this morning, we went to the gym. when we came home, we discussed going to the library after i showered. when i got out of the very quick shower that i took, rex was crying and malloy was yelling at him, pushing him out of her room, telling him he couldn't be in there and taking a toy away from him. so we did not go to the library. both kids were devastated but i really can't handle the fighting and meanness anymore! after this, the kids were nice to each other for the rest of the day! the kids didn't nap, i laid with rex for an hour - didn't work. malloy just made herself cough for an hour. so i let them play together for quiet time. they played really nicely. malloy came out and asked if they could go to the library because they were being nice to each other. so she gets it! we'll see it continues!!  flashcards, then we drew shapes on our hands and feet. then we drew, cut out and colored shapes and taped them to the floor in the kitchen. we played a shape game where you needed to hop, tiptoe, crab walk, bear walk, you name it. they did whatever action to the shape that i named. they loved it!!! the entire shape learning experience took an hour and a half at least!!! rex insists that a circle is an "o". he was getting angry with me "no! i call it "o"!!!!!!" we're working on it! it was early baths, dinner, then early bedtime for the kids tonight!
