friday: the kids got out of the house for the first time in a week and went to school! i co-oped in rex's class - he was not himself - very quiet - you could tell he wasn't feeling 100% yet poor buddy. both kids took a good nap when we got home!! 

we got a package in the mail from the north pole today. it was from joey!! how thoughtful of him! malloy and i had a great time putting the puzzle together - it was the biggest one she's done!! (the most pieces)

saturday: we started our morning with some green and turquoise pancakes. then we headed to the gym for a bit. malloy and rex were so excited to see safina and emery!!! the girls shared a long embrace when we first got there! they're so cute! after the gym, we had lunch and napped, then played at home the rest of the day.

 sunday: we had a lazy sunday today. the kids helped me make pancakes and then played nicely for a short while before the arguing and crying began. they are both quite whiny lately. things need to change around here!! both kids napped today - i had to hold rex down for a bit to get the point across that he needs to lay down, but he eventually fell asleep! he needed it!!! malloy woke up before rex and we went down in the basement. she rode her tricycle around for a half hour!!! she loves having space to be active!!
this afternoon, malloy helped me organize her dresser. she thought it was very cool that she was able to see all of her clothes. i did rex's next and then it was time for dinner and bed!
