our big outing of the day was to the library - woohoo! we got a bunch more fun books and some more movies that don't really play very well because of the fingerprints and scratches :(  we came home and had a fun lunch (malloy said she didn't want peanut butter and jelly, which was what rex suggested, she wanted something fun, so i made pb&j on shaped bread. viola - fun!) they loved it! naps for both kids today! 

malloy got a valentine's day activity book from the library and wanted to make everything in it!! so we chose a heart mouse. she decided that she was making it for rex and wrote him a special message inside it. it was really sweet! she tried giving it to him and he was a stinker. he refused to take it. i kept telling her that it was really nice of her to make something for her brother. 

after dinner, the kids played with legos for a bit before dinner. it's a favorite activity these days!!
