the exciting outing of the day was to the library! rex had more fun picking out books today. usually he lets malloy pick out the books for him but today he was looking at them on his own. we came home and watched a few shows that they picked out at the library, hand lunch, and then we read some of our new books before nap. rex took a while to fall asleep, but he did! malloy was the one who stayed up today! i really thought it was rex making all the noise. i accidentally woke him up when i barged in his room - woops!! he handled it well, though, and we cuddled for a bit! 

this afternoon, we read all of the new library books, then watched another show and played a game. malloy did awesome with dinner! she sat and ate everything without getting up and without too many reminders! rex needed to be sent to his room because he wasn't eating. he finally did eat a little more!! then it was bedtime! malloy was so excited to wear her new pjs from grandma val! she put them on and said "look. my toes sticking out. that's how grandma made them must be." she cracks me up!!
