malloy went to bed without coming out of her room at all last night!! yahoo! i went in to check on her before i went to bed and she was snoring, laying completely under her covers with the pjs that she was wearing on top of the quilt and her light on. i peeked under the blanket and she was wearing different pjs. so she was up and about but never left her room. i still consider that a win!!! 

rex and i ran some errands while malloy was in school. the kids played nicely for a bit before nap, rex stayed awake until 2:30 playing in his room. he started sobbing that he needed a tissue. i went in, he crawled into bed, i wiped his nose and asked him if he was tired. he said "yeah, but i'm awake". then i rubbed his head while he cried "no" repeatedly for about 30 seconds and was out! 

his later nap didn't affect his bedtime - he asked "is it naptime, yet?" at around 6:30!
