today was our free day and of course the kids chose the museum!! there's a new exhibit called the "science of sports." there was a lot of fun stuff to do!!! we played mini-golf, clocked how fast we can run, threw footballs, and watched a hockey demonstration (they didn't want to participate, so the employee showed them how it was done). then we did all of the usual museum stuff and ended up in the playroom. 
after nap, we had a snack and made birthday cards for miss alyssa. malloy was so proud of her card - she wrote happy birthday, love malloy (with some assistance) and drew her a bunch of balloons all on her own. it was so cute! rex drew "a big lion." when we got to the gym, miss alyssa wasn't there!!! malloy was SO sad that she wasn't there (she had said she was working thursday afternoon and was bringing cupcakes for her birthday). 
before bed, malloy requested to watch the gangnam style video instead of reading books. the kids LOVE this video and dance around like crazy!

they get inside and lay on the floor and wait for me to take their shoes off.  it makes me laugh!
