play-doh easter egg hunt!

feeling much better!

 malloy slept all night and is feeling much much better today! (rex wasn't sick either!!)  she still stayed home from school, so we had a rainy morning at home. we played with play-doh and made little easter eggs. that turned into a full on easter egg hunt! i had the kids go in the other room while i hid the eggs in the living room. malloy LOVED this!! so much, that as soon as she found them all she wanted to hide them for me. she'd hide them all and then call me in to find the eggs. she'd then lead me around and point out every egg for me. she was just so excited for me to find them!

this afternoon we met up with friends for some fresh air at the park! the kids had a blast! we haven't been there since last summer and they SO much more grown up! rex was all over the playground and didn't need much help from me except when he was climbing the rock wall. he was taking turns with kenadee - they thought they were big kids climbing (mostly) on their own! rex was singing "climb, climb, climb" over and over again as he climbed up.

when we got home, the kids played on the deck for a bit. rex was running around the deck and as he passed the play house he poked his head in and yelled "gamma, are you home?" ha! it was so random and funny. i laughed right out loud and malloy said "we have to tell daddy's rexy's joke!"
