malloy's favorite part of the zoo is the rain forest and the bridge is her favorite part of the rain forest!

it was 64 degrees out today, so we went to the zoo with some friends! it was beautiful - just a little bit windy. the kids had a great time! as soon as we got there, rex did not want to ride in the wagon. he told me "no! i want walk!" mister independent! he loved walking around all on his own. malloy wanted to see all of the animals immediately! we'd get to one animal and she was already telling me she wanted to go find another one. we could have done the whole zoo in a half hour if it were up to her!! after naps, we ran to wegman's quick (the kids were so good!!) and then played out on the deck until dinner! it was so nice to get so much sunshine and outdoor activity!! i think rex may have gotten a little sunburn. looks like his sunscreen was splotchy - woops! time to buy sunscreen!!! woohoo!
