everyone's still healthy! i think that we're all done with the stomach bug and even though rex would not leave malloy alone while she was sick, he seems to have gotten lucky!

this morning we went to the gym and then to a playdate at safina and emery's. the kids had a great time! malloy even pooped on the potty all on her own there! too bad i gave her a chocolate treat when we got home!! she was in her room for an hour and a half causing trouble. rex was so tired, he didn't care and was sleeping through her antics. when she got louder, i made her go lay in my bed. she was up for another 45 minutes and finally gave up and fell asleep. just in time for rex to wake up!! i let her sleep for 20 minutes and then woke her up so she wouldn't be up all night, since it was almost 4!!

we got our new rain boots in the mail today! rex was so excited about his new yellow boots! malloy was equally excited! they got to test out their new boots at wegmans.  the kids were great at the store!! they're usually whiny or at each other constantly, but they were very good! makes for an easier shopping experience. while we were out, malloy saw a lays truck and said "look, mom, i see a chip bus!" i giggled a little and explained to her about delivery trucks. when we got home, we enjoyed the 65 degree weather for as long as we could before it was time for bed!!
