yesterday, grandma val came to visit for a few days! malloy was asking if she could sit on the front steps and wait for grandma - at around 7am (grandma was scheduled to arrive around 11ish). both kids were so excited for her to get here! she came bearing gifts - clothes, toys, and TONS of books! they liked the books the best! we went out to dinner with uncle paddy and auntie andi, grandma, and daddy. the kids were on their best behavior - as usual! can i say enough how much i love having well behaved kids when we go out to dinner?! at bedtime, both malloy and rex wanted grandma to read them their books. neal was trying to get rex to come over and he said "no. gwamma read it".

today was rex's birthday party with his friends! it was a fun time!! we played for a bit, ate some pizza, hit the pinata, pinned the tale on bullseye, had green alien cupcakes, opened presents and did some sand art! it was a whirlwind of fun!
after nap, we went to target with grandma then came home and had dinner, then bed!
