we took a trip to the farmer's market this morning. malloy got her bread - pepperoni  cheese bread this time! - and we got some peaches and sausage. the kids love to run around in the open grass after checking out all of the goodies at the market. notice the jackets!! it was chilly today! 

daddy made a super cool fort this afternoon. they stayed in there  for a few hours, telling scary stories and reading books while i made dinner and a peach pie.

 rex was going crazy with the paddle ball tonight! he's such a maniac! 

playing a round of guess who before bed

malloy had been making up stories about what her baby has been up to. sometimes she shows me pictures on her pretend phone of the things that her baby did. today she sat me down and went through a coloring book. "this is when my baby tried counting. she just goes 'one, two' and didn't know any more." "my baby tried counting mickey. she just said 'one'" and so on and so on.

malloy was trying so hard to show rex pictures of her baby, but he just wasn't interested. she slides her finger  to get to the next picture and everything. she's a very observant little girl!!
