after the gym, we had a fun day at home - complete with fort time, art, outdoor book nook, sand table play, and a whole bunch of potty training! that's right! we're giving it another go! after nap, rex wore underwear right up until bedtime. instead of the 3-day potty training that we did with malloy, i put him on the potty every 20-30 minutes. when he went he got a jellybean! simple as that! the jellybeans were very very motivating today!  he peed on the potty 6 times and had one accident - it was right after dinner and he went into the living room when we should have put him on the toilet, that was my mistake! while we were reading stories at bedtime, rex got up, left the bedroom, and went into the bathroom. he had to pee and he went! i wanted to do cartwheels i was so excited!!! he was very unhappy about putting a diaper on for bed! i think we can do it this time!!! he just didn't need the extreme training that malloy did since he will pee on command. pooping will be another hurtle, but i stocked up on some dollar toys that he can pick when he does poop on the potty. we'll see how tomorrow goes!
