malloy has been begging to go to the museum, so when i gave her the choice between swimming with friends or going to the museum, there was no question! so after breakfast (we made lemon poppyseed muffins!), we headed to the museum for the morning! malloy knows exactly what she wants to do and had a plan already in her head! there were SO many camp groups at the museum today, it was overwhelming for me, so i can imagine the kids were a bit unnerved! however, they were much more well-behaved than more than half of the 10 yr olds i saw! it really makes me very grateful to be able to stay home with my kids and take them fun places and give them these learning experiences. they definitely know how to act in public and they make me proud! later, when we asked rex about the museum (or if he even heard the word museum) he would immediately reply with wide eyes "i was scared!" he's such a little scaredy cat sometimes! i don't know what to do about or if there's anything i can do!
malloy used the word "certainly" today. i asked her if she wiped after she went potty and she replied"i certainly did!" i love her and the big words she picks up!
