rex has started taking a few steps and he is SO excited about it! he just decided he wanted to stand, i looked over and asked "what are you doing?!!!!" he just put on a huge smile and took 2 steps!!! so far the most he's done is 5 steps!! 

malloy had a great day at school and kept her hands to herself - phew! after nap, she was cranky. she didn't want to get out of bed and wanted me to stay in her room and watch her be cranky. i told her she could come downstairs when she was ready and went downstairs. she screamed for the next 40 minutes! no joke. not cried, but screamed because she was mad. and rex slept through the whole thing. she stopped because she came across a new game in her toy box. her screaming stopped immediately and she came right down stairs asking in her most polite way if she could please play with the new toy. and then the rest of the afternoon was pretty much fine! sometimes i guess you just need to scream for 40 minutes for no reason!
