dancing at Fall Festival

malloy's first ferris wheel!

we had a super fun day today!! we spent the entire day at the Fall Festival in Ellicottville! the kids had a great time eating, dancing, and riding on daddy's and uncle ryan's shoulders! malloy rode on her first ferris wheel today! it was a kid sized one, but it still went up higher than i'd every like to go!! i kept telling neal that i didn't think it was a good idea for her to go on it. he told her that she could ride on a different ride again but she told him that she really wanted to ride the ferris wheel. and she loved it!!! such a thrill seeker!!! i was so proud of her!

malloy did great at bedtime and went right to sleep! she was exhausted!!! i can only hope it continues!! oh! and rex slept until 6:30 this morning!!! hooray!! neal said that when he was reading him the animal book tonight, he pointed out the dog and said "there's the dog" and rex barked. he pointed out the cat and rex meowed! this is new!! my favorite word he has is still "no." it's just the way he says it that makes me giggle - it's a slow no. i'll offer him his drink and he'll say "noooooooo" with inflection

that goes up and then down. i'm sure i won't think it's cute in a few more days!
