sooo, today what the first day that the timed nightlight actually came on in the morning. only it came on at 5:30 and immediately woke malloy up. she didn't make a peep, just left the bedroom shutting the door behind her, and came up into our room. she came in and said "it's time to wake up! my light was on!" woops! we have hopefully fixed that problem!!
malloy went to school and rex and i went to the gym. he was off today and once i went in to change his diaper, it was all over. he had a complete meltdown and we had to go. he was great in wegmans, but also ate a banana and a cheesestick. perhaps he was hungry!
after nap, we met up with a few of malloy's classmates at the park. she was so excited to play with them outside of school!! they had a blast!!

a random story: the kids were watching The Letter Factory today and in the beginning, a monster comes in and says "BOOGAH BOOGAH BOOGAH" to scare the As into saying "ah!". it scares the pants off of rex! he scrambled over to me and sat ascloseaspossible to me for the rest of the movie. every few minutes he'd look at me and say "boogah boogah". he was so worried about it! he got over it eventually. so at dinner tonight i peeked over at rex and said "boogah boogah boogah" and he flipped out. started crying and running away from me. he jumped into neal's arms and clung so tight to him for a long time, then clung to me for a longer time. it's so strange! i won't do it again, but it made us laugh a little at his strange reaction!
