malloy woke up at 4:30am asking if her light was on yet so she could get out of bed. she went back to sleep and then got up a few minutes before her light was supposed to come on at 6:30. neal let her get up...we'll try again tonight.
it was back to school today after a week off for malloy- she was SO excited to see her friends again!! rex and i ran errands while malloy was at school because his nose was too runny for the gym.  he was a good boy - didn't need any treats or food while we went into 3 different stores! our afternoon was spent at home, playing with squinkies and then the kids made up some game that involved putting every toy they could find in malloy's bed. that was fun to clean up before bed!!!

a battle of tv shows has started! rex has an opinion and it's always "woody buzz toy stowy". today malloy got to pick a show and when it was over rex looks at me and says "all over. the end! my pick!" such a little stinker! he's got it down already!!! and malloy has her own tricks. when it's rex's turn to pick she tries to convince him to pick something she wants to watch. today she said "rex, do you want to watch mulan? tell mommy, 'mulan'." when he repeated mulan she got all excited and told me that we can now watch mulan because rex said he wanted to watch it. nice try! needless to say, we're cutting down on tv time!! i can't wait for summer so we can be at the parks and pools all day!!
