joey was racing santa this morning

the kids had school this morning. they've been doing pretty well with quiet time this week. at lunch, malloy told rex that he could play in her room, but she was going to nap. and she did! he was in there playing with the kitchen, cooking away and she was snoring under her blankets. she was tuckered out today! rex would go over to her and ask loudly "malloy. are you sleepin'?" he finally gave up and went in his own room to play.
this afternoon, rex came out of his room holding a clipboard. i asked where he got it and he said "from the other door!" he meant that he got it from his closet. i love how he views the world and how he explains things!
