joey didn't get to go to the north pole last night :( 

malloy wasn't happy that joey was sad. her poor little face fell when she heard that he was sad b/c she didn't go to bed until late. i felt bad that she felt so bad! she came to me a few minutes later and asked if she could see joey's face. she needed to see his expression - when i picked him up and he was still smiling, it made her feel better. 

when i picked malloy up from school, all of the kids had a surprise for the parents. they were lined up with little candles that they made and sang 'we wish you a merry christmas'. it was really cute. video didn't turn out so great because it was so dark!

rex told me today "oh! i have to tell santa i want a doggy at my home, not a rocket ship"
