someone got ahold of the dry-erase markers! 

we went to walgreens this morning to pick out special bandaids and a toy for doing a great job getting shots at the doctor! we went to the gym and then the doctor. the kids did great with their flu shots! rex did awesome, malloy had a tough time on the ride home. she was whimpering and whining that her arm hurt all the way home. i had to threaten to take her new pig away because it was a toy for doing a great job with her shot! she did calm down. both kids took naps. i had to threaten (sensing a theme for the day??) to stay home with malloy while rex and daddy went to dinner with katie, safina and emery. that worked and she napped (she was visibly exhausted!!). rex was so angry and upset, he was screaming and thrashing. i held him tight and rocked him while singing 'hush little baby" he was still struggling to get free in between his eyes rolling back into his head. he was so extremely tired! he fell asleep with me singing to him. i doubt i have too many of those moments left! 

we went to dinner with katie, emery, and safina. malloy was beyond excited to sit next to safina. she was grinning and giggling the whole time! she loves her friend so much!! then it was home for baths and bed!!
