i co-oped in malloy's class this morning. she was so excited to share the snack she picked out with her friends and to have it be "her day". we had a fun time together! after school, we went to get rex from katie's house. rex loves to play with safina and emery and had no trouble at all staying there while i was with malloy. such a big boy! katie told me that rex was giving emery toys to play with and when she was putting them in her mouth rex would tell her "no emme, pretend!" he didn't want her to really eat the toys!! i love him!!
after nap, we went to the gym and then out to dinner at chili's!! it was a special treat to go out on a weeknight!! the kids were great! malloy is starting to order her own dinner now - it's the cutest thing ever! i love seeing her be so independent! another night of the kids going to bed without yelling for us! they played for a little bit, i could hear malloy's music box, so she was getting into things, but they still went to sleep soon after! makes for one happy mommy!!!
