rex LOVES to set up his toys and then have me take pictures. after i take the picture, he has to look at it to see if he likes it. 

 daddy left for a long weekend to go to a phish concert and malloy was so so sad. she was up in her room crying in her bed with a pillow over her head. it took quite a while for her to regain her composure. once he left, we had a fun day! we started with lunch at mcdonald's and playing in the play place. then we went shopping - rex got more skylanders with his birthday money. at target, he spent some more of his money on fun toys! after the stores, we went to get some chinese food to bring home for dinner. grandma val came over and had dinner with us. then we went for a swim in the rain and had movie night. not a bad day!

the magic 8 ball has been hours of fun today!!! they both love it!! we are in such big trouble with malloy!!! she's asking it "does own want to date me?" WHAT?! i asked her if she knew what that meant and she said "it means go out". this kid is 6!!! she better slow down!
