we were pretty cooped up all day and the kids were bickering on and off in between giggling, wrestling, and chasing each other around the house! it was time to get some energy out!!! it was raining quite hard so we went outside!!!! the kids' faces lit up when i told them they could go run around. they were out there for a while - it was so exciting for them!!! i love seeing pure joy and excitement in their little faces!!! i need to remember that it really is the little moments that can be so exciting!!! they will always love the quality time with you, not the amount of money you spend on them.
after we came in and dried off, we made a fort between the couches, read books, and got to stay up a little later than usual! they told me it was the best day ever!
