a week with family!

sunday 7/28 : aunt kari's shower was today. malloy had a blast playing with bella! when we got back to chapman's we said goodbye to daddy and sent him on his way back to buffalo. we ate dinner with grandpa gary and grandma tappy and then we headed over to grandma val and grandpa don's. we turned around and went out for ice cream. there was a little playground at the ice cream place. the kids had way more fun playing than eating ice cream!!! 

monday 7/29: we met aunt debbie and nathan at the park in the morning, had lunch at mcdonalds, and went to the grocery store. after a quick nap in the van, it was time for a family bbq! aunt kari and bella, grandma tappy and grandpa gary all came over to grandma val and grandpa don's house for dinner. we had a great time!!! we're so lucky to have family that enjoy each other's company!!

 tuesday 7/30: we took a pizza over to roro and papa's house and had lunch there. another quick nap in the van and then we had dinner and a campfire!

wednesday 7/31: we spent the morning and afternoon with grandma tappy! we went out for lunch and did some school clothes shopping. the kids each got a stuffed animal, too! then it was off to aunt kari and bella's house for a sleepover!! we went out for pizza and then the kids played until 10pm!!! they had no trouble going right to sleep!!!

 thursday 8/1: grandpa gary watched the kids while i did some shopping. they took a good nap and then hung out with grandpa and grandma until i got back. we went out to dinner with grandpa gary, grandma tappy, grandpa don, grandma val, aunt kari, and bella! the kids both had manicotti for the first time and loved it! after dinner, we had to go grocery shopping with grandma val and grandpa don. grandpa had some fun with the kids while we checked out.

friday 8/2: we went to grandpa don's company picnic!!! the kids had a blast!!!! they jumped their little hearts out and had way to much sugar and loved every minute of it! after lunch, they got ice cream, cotton candy, slushies, and then more ice cream!! they both crashed on the way home!  we went to roro and papa's after the picnic so grandpa could help chop up a tree. roro got some one on one time with the kids while i ran out with grandma val to shop for a bit. they kids had so much fun!!! when we went back to grandma val and grandpa don's, daddy was back!!!! it was a long week without him!!!

saturday 8/3:  i went with kari and her other bridesmaids on a bachelorette getaway while neal, grandpa gary  and grandma tappy stayed with the kids. they went to the zoo and had a bunch of fun! no one napped so it was an easy early night for all the kids! 

sunday 8/4: i got back around noon and we packed up and headed back to buffalo! home sweet home!!!
