both kids counted the money in their piggy banks. they had a lot more than i thought!!! malloy was sorting her money by presidents. she's something else!
grandpa don gave the kids cash for their coins. they quickly spent the money on some new toys. rex bought mixel legos and loved putting them together!!!
time to pack for camping! i made each kid a list and they got right to it! malloy said "it's like a scavenger hunt but with clothes!"

our camp neighbor gave us glow sticks!!! it was so much fun and they doubled as nightlights!
it rained a little in the morning and was threatening to rain more so we moved under the pavilion for breakfast. grandma colored with the kids and rex counted rocks while daddy cooked breakfast.

it was hot, hot, HOT!!! and it was going to be hotter the next day. we decided to pack up and leave after lily's grad party instead of stay another night. i kept the busy while daddy packed up our stuff. rex counted more rocks. 201 altogether!

i looked up recipes and had the kids vote on which one they wanted. they chose teriyaki meatballs. it was a new recipe and an absolute winner!!! so so yummy!!!
