december part 1

happy birthday grandpa don and welcome back, joey and jingles! 

 the kids got new christmas jammies and we did a mini photo-shoot in hopes of getting christmas card photos. we had fun but my phone on my camera was just a bit blurry!!!

 joey and jingles wanted in on the fun! they got themselves some matching christmas jammies, too!

malloy had some questions for joey. he had to write her a note! 

rex got a nathan t hall of fame award this month for being a good friend and a hard worker!!! way to go rex!

 we went to grandpa gary's for dinner and a bath again. malloy was very interested in how the pellet stove worked. they sat in front of it with flashlights watching until the flame sparked.

 we brought naughty or nice over to play with grandpa.

 we got to help roro and pap decorate their tree, too! rex was exhausted and not too helpful. malloy did a great job being a helper!

we moved over to grandpa gary's house for a while. the kids are being really flexible and easy going about staying wherever! grandpa popped some popcorn and we watched the grinch for movie night!

 we helped grandpa decorate his tree bright and early in the morning!! 7am to be exact!!! it was all done and we were ready to go to the christmas shop at school! we saw santa and had some cocoa and cookies, too! after that, the kids did science experiments with daddy for a while. we had a lazy rest of the day on saturday.

rex made a thank you card for grandma val's friend, eileen. she gave him $5 for hallween!! such a sweetheart! so he made a picture of her and wrote a thank you note on it. he started drawing the black curls on her face are "that's what happens when you get old. eileen is old" he drew wrinkles all over! eileen does not look like this!
