today was malloy's valentine party at school and i got to co-op in her class. it was a busy busy day! malloy was a little cranky and impatient at school. apparently things weren't going her way as much as she would have liked. it only got worse from there! she didn't nap today, so she was SUPER cranky this afternoon. she was saying things like "if you don't do X, then i'm gonna hit you" and "if you don't read a book then i'm gonna break this whole house!" as she pounded on the walls with her fist.  it was a very trying afternoon!!! when i was tucking her in, she said "mommy, i won't be grumpy tomorrow for valentine's day." rex was very good through all of it! phew!
