yesterday was a low key day. we went to the gym and the grocery store, then played at home. we went to king and i for dinner to celebrate our birthdays. the food was great but the service was very slow!! the kids were so well behaved!!! i'm glad i brought some card games to keep them occupied for a while!

today, the kids had school. malloy didn't leave school crying today!!! her teacher told her that if she was happy the whole day, then at the end of the day, she could write that malloy was smiley all day! (usually on fridays she pouts and is cranky at the end of the day because she doesn't go to stretch and grow like some of her classmates). in other great news: rex napped on his own without me laying with him!!!! sure, i bribed him with candy, but he napped!!!!! we went to the gym in the afternoon and then had dinner with neal. we had quite a bit of silly time before bed, but it didn't disrupt bedtime! they went right to sleep!
