this morning rex and i took a walk while malloy was at school. it was SO cold out and snowing a little bit. i was hoping to tire him out (it didn't work). he was so much fun and so excited to have me all to himself! he was chatting away, saying "you wanna see something cool, mom? look up there! there's scarecrows there, that's pretty cool!"  "i'm running mom! come run with me!" at one point he said "i'm freezing cold. we should find my house." so we turned around and walked back -  it was nice quality time!!

rex didn't nap - malloy did. story of how the past week has gone! 

the kids played nicely together this afternoon. i don't know what they were playing but they were both in malloy's room and there wasn't any crying!! :)
