while malloy was school this morning at school this morning, rex got to lounge and watch his own shows and play on his own. he's still not feeling himself, so he was happy to lay on the couch and rest while i got a lot of cleaning done! we went to pick up malloy from school, stopped quick to return something at walgreens (it turned into a little bit longer because malloy wanted to look at all of the halloween stuff!), then stopped at little caesar's to got a pizza for lunch. the kids thought that was the coolest thing! they loved the pizza and both ate it all (by themselves, which doesn't happen all that often). naptime went smoothly - rex went right down because he's so rundown. malloy slept for 3 hours and didn't get up until 4!! both kids got balls in their buckets - rex got his spiderman lego toy and malloy should be getting her toy tomorrow morning. each kid got to pick out a decal to put on the wall - rex picked hamm and malloy picked cinderella. they were both very very excited about it! 

after dinner, malloy played with the spiderman legos with neal and i cuddled on the couch with rex. then i got rex ready for bed while malloy and neal went for a walk. malloy slept a lot later than rex and i wanted to make sure that she was tired when she went to bed! rex went out quickly - i stayed in the room with him while he went to sleep and that seems to work out pretty well. 

OH! i almost forgot! rex started telling me that he had to go potty today!! he told me about 4 or 5 times! i think that he's telling me so that he can get candy out of the pumpkin but he's still going potty first!!! woohooo!!! please let this continue!!
