today was a lazy day - no one left the house. rex is sick, poor buddy. he really did eat or drink much this morning and just wasn't himself. he was staring off into space a lot and was very quiet. he passed right our at naptime. malloy felt bad that rex didn't feel good and was trying to bring him toys she thought would cheer him up. malloy did not nap today, but was pretty well behaved rex was a bit better after nap and did eat some dinner. i let him choose what he wanted for dinner so that he'd at least eat something. so the kids had cars spaghettios with meatballs and baby corns. oh well, at least there was a veggie and a protein!! for bedtime, i tried something different and stayed in their room for about a half hour, hoping at least rex would fall asleep. it did keep them both in bed and fairly quiet. not sure if they're asleep yet... 

my project of the day was to move the kids' room around (and the playroom) so that there are no toys in their room (i know i know, mean mommy!). my theory is that there aren't any toys to play with so rex will go to sleep for nap and bedtime!! i also hung up some art that the kids were working on so long ago. i finally finished them up during nap today and got them on the walls!
