neal left this afternoon to hang out with some friends. i decided spur of the moment to take the kids to mcdonald's for dinner. it was the first time we've ever gone to a fast food place for dinner and the first time that i've taken the kids out on my own. they did great and ate their entire meal (they love apple dippers!!!) and loved being somewhere different!
