malloy had a longer school day today. i walked her to her classroom and off she went! no kisses, no good-bye!! she was ready to start her day! rex and i ran some errands while malloy was in school and i made the kids' first dentist appointments in the van while rex shoved yogurt raisins under his butt in the car seat. malloy had a huge smile on her face when she came out of the classroom and told me a bit about her day. she told me that she painted with mark, they read a book about making new friends, and danced to shake your sillies out. this afternoon, we played at the playground. malloy can now climb on everything all on her own and is going down the slides by herself. it was the first time that she played on the playground without needing any help!! rex was also all over the playground giving me mini-heart attacks every 5 seconds! he is so daring and has no fear of getting hurt. we all had a good time and went home HUNGRY and sleepy.
