Thanksgiving break

my crazy turkey!

happy thanksgiving! we had a nice morning watching the parade and then got ready for the thanksgiving festivities!

first we went to roro and papa's. the kids had a blast coloring on the tablecloth and hung out with daddy watching football.

we went to grandpa gary's and had a quiet thanksgiving dinner with just him. bella had been pretty sick so we decided to do our own thing. norma was sick, too, so she didn't make it either. it definitely wasn't the same, but it was a nice dinner!

malloy loves glasses! she tried mine on all the time, so when i found a pair with clear lenses, she was thrilled!

we took the kids to the movies to see hotel transylvania 2. it was so nice outside that we decided to check out roundtop. the playground was tiny but we made do! we stopped and visited aunt cathy and uncle joe for a bit, got some donuts at the cider mill one last time before they close for the winter, and  home to enjoy the donuts! 

 

we went to grandma val and grandpa don's to help them decorate their tree.

we ended up going to roro and papa's saturday night for thanksgiving leftovers. aunt amy and aunt geri, uncle tom, tommy and tori were there, too! the kids had a great time and played a game of apples to apples after dinner!

joey came a few days early this year and the kids were so excited!! they were building lego houses and furniture for joey, it was so cute.

we decided that it was time to put up our tree! it's our first christmas in our new house and we're very excited!

malloy was downstairs building joey a lego house. i was upstairs and i heard her talking with joey: "joey, i'm building you a house but i'm not sure if i'll finish it in time. if you want, you can finish it tonight. but if you already had something else planned for tonight, that's fine!"

rex was having nightmares quite a lot. i decided we needed to make some anti-nightmare spray. rex was so excited about it! he called it super spray. he sprayed it in his room and in other rooms upstairs and under his closet door. it worked! he slept all night! 

so excited to sleep now that the super spray is here!
