January update

Surprise sledding trip! It was a warmer day and we had an hour while rex was still in school, so i decided to take malloy to a hill to go sledding. it was the biggest hill she's been on and she loved it! we had a blast!!!

we had uncle matt over for his birthday! we had tacos and cupcakes - yum! the kids LOVE jumping all over uncle matt!!

 malloy was actually playing with her monster high dolls!!! she played with them 2 days in a row! she usually prefers role playing that involves dragging every stuffed animal out of both her and rex's room! it was nice to see her play on her own for a bit.

 malloy got an outstanding student award at school for being a kind friend. there was a little ceremony that we got to go to and see her accept her award. it was super cute!!!

everyone else is holding their reward in their hands. not malloy, she had hers under her neck the entire time.

she got a button along wither her award and wore it all day! 

 malloy's new favorite thing is to play card games. we play go fish, war, and slapjack. we sometimes use the time while rex is at school to play a bunch of games!!

morning weekend movie! 

we built a track for our hex bugs to travel down, it went from the living room all the way to malloy's bedroom. it took quite a while to set up, then malloy got sidetracked and started picking it all up so she could do something else. we never even got to run the bugs down the track!

 neal set up his old computers and made a rocket ship in the living room. the kids played for hours with all the stuff! they'd go to different planets, get out and blast the aliens, then hop in and go to a different planet.
