crafts from friday afternoon: 

this was right up malloy's alley! she sat and glued all of these sequins on! 

rex is getting pretty good at staying in the lines. this was his painting project. 

saturday 9/14: malloy woke up and played in her room for a bit instead of waking me up right away. rex woke up and needed a tissue so i got up. i came down and got him up, then we went into malloy's room. she was quitely reading her children's bible. i said "aww you're being so good! you've been reading the whole time?" she replies "no, i'm waiting for the milk to be done. i milked all my animals and i'm waiting for it to be ready." (she has little plastic animals that she loves to play with) i saw all the animals in her car and asked "are your animals all going for a ride?" she replied "nope. those are just their skins. i had to take their skins off so i could get their meat off after i milked them." well, alright then. she had a busy morning!

once everyone was up, the kids got to work making their rocket ship (malloy) and car (rex) out of big boxes that neal brought home. we were getting them ready so we could have a "drive-in" movie night that night.

 we went to the gym and then headed to the museum for the afternoon! we haven't been in a while and the kids had a blast!

after the museum, we went to wegmans - the kids played in wkids and i did some shopping. we came home and made dinner. malloy made pizzas for us and i made nachos that rex requested. we also made peanut butter chocolate chip oreo cookies. it was malloy's idea and i had to think about how to execute the plan but we did it!

we had a dinner and a movie drive in style.

 then they cozied up with their pillows and blankets. it was so cute! malloy thought it was so cool that it was dark and they were still up and were able to watch the entire movie!

 we made it through the entire day without daddy! woohooo!!!

today: we went to the gym and hung out at home. daddy came home today while malloy was napping (rex didn't nap - surprise!). rex was so excited and ran right into his arms! neal had a cold and was worn out from his bachelor weekend so he took a nap after he said hello to malloy. he bought the kids some art projects when he went to pick up cold medicine so we did some art and watched football. the bills won! woohoo!!
