tuesday 3/26

malloy got a birthday card from great grandpa everett in the mail. it had some birthday money in it. she chose to use it to go to the bounce house!!! we had a fun morning at leaps n' bounce! 

 wednesday 3/27 - happy birthday, papa hank!
the kids had their easter parties at school today! they had a blast and got a lot of yummy treats!

thursday 3/28 

the easter bunny came early!!!! he must have known that we were leaving to visit family today!! malloy was so excited when she woke up and it dawned on her that the easter bunny had come when she saw some eggs around. the kids got a LOT of eggs - they were hidden all over the house! after we went through the easter baskets and ate a bunch of candy, it was time to get on the road! 

neither kid napped on the way to grandma and grandpa's (i did!) but they did great! 

we hung out at the chapman's for a while, let them have a break from the running and screaming, and went to visit grandma val. the kids had quite a crafty afternoon! they dyed eggs, did an easter craft, and did some coloring. then it was back to chapman's to have dinner. grandma val and grandpa don came over for a quick visit before bedtime.

they were so excited to bring eggs to grandma and grandpa! 

 friday 3/29
the kids spent the morning at chapman's with daddy while i spent the morning with my mommy and daddy! after nap, we watched some tv, played, and colored until it was time to go to dinner! we met uncle ryan, kari, and bella, grandma, grandpa, and aunt norma at tony's - yum!!! the kids were awesome! they fed themselves - which is rare, especially when we're out and they're distracted!

 saturday 3/30

party day! we packed up our stuff and moved on over to the bosket's. it was time to prep for malloy's birthday party!! neither kid napped so they were a bit cranky, but not too bad! grandma val got malloy all dolled up for her cinderella-themed birthday party! she was a little rude while opening gifts, saying things like "another one?!" or "this isn't what i wanted" - that was the tired talking. she was very happy to have new presents! we are so very lucky to have such a great family to celebrate with us!!

 sunday 3/31
the bunny came to the bosket's!!! malloy and rex had to follow the bunny's clues to get their baskets.

monday 4/1
we said goodbye to grandma val and grandpa don and headed back to buffalo! the kids slept a lot of the ride home. they hung out and watched tv and read books until dinner - just happy to be home!

tuesday 4/2
we went to the gym and then came home and started some spring cleaning!!!  we got malloy's room all clean and organized, putting some old toy's away, making room for new ones. rex's room was cleaned and organized as well! it's a good feeling! now let's see how long we can keep these toys in their places!!!

today - 4/3
uncle paddy came over to play/visit/babysit for a few hours while i ran some errands. the kids were so excited!! malloy played kitchen and was taking uncle paddy's order - so cute! it appeared that they played barbies and watched tv...malloy kept saying "i don't remember"  when i asked what she did. the kids played while i cleaned/organized more of the house - i'm on a roll!!!
