saturday: we spent the morning walking around a po. nd and then playing at the playground. in the afternoon, we went to a graduation party for uncle ryan. the kids loved running around and around the house and exploring in the "woods".

sunday: we had a low key morning at grandma and grandpa's house and then packed up and headed back to buffalo. while we were packing up, malloy said "i don't want to go to buffalo, i want to stay here!" she loves spending time at her grandparents'. the kids slept for almost 2 hrs in the car and then played nicely for the rest of the trip. we did dinner and a movie while neal did some work and then it was off to bed!

today, we went over to brooke and ben's house for a playdate. malloy and rex always have a good time out there! there's so much space for them to run around and so much to do! rex had a few hitting incidents. he always seems to target ben :( sorry ben!! we played a lot of guess who and candyland today, too! malloy and i play candyland while rex bashes the pieces all of the board. malloy is getting really good at being patient and tolerant. when we play guess who, rex takes my people and knocks all of them down over and over again. someday he'll be old enough to play games! the kids also were great helpers today! my new strategy is to keep them busier! so they helped me clean up their toys a lot today and they loved helping me sort laundry.
