friday: we didn't have any plans today so we had an art day! it got a little out of hand so we followed it up with a late morning bath!

 saturday: we had an exciting morning spent with a few guys from roto rooter! they were taking care of a problem in the basement - turns out they need to dig up our yard and put in new drain pipes. yippee! at least the kids will have a fun show!
malloy wanted so badly for the roto rooter guy to say hi to her. she told neal "you make him say hi to me". we explained to her that she just needed to say "hi" to him and he'd say it back. so when he came back inside she was fidgeting and said "um" but couldn't do it. neal told him that she was trying to work up the courage to say hi so he said hi to her. once he was downstairs, malloy said "i was trying to say hi." it was really cute!
this afternoon, while i was getting dinner ready, malloy started taking her books and making a path into the kitchen. she was busy for a very long time!!! both kids were walking along the book path, counting and singing as they did it. love to see the creativity coming out in both of them!!!

pants came off after dinner. we were having too much fun and had a tiny accident. malloy told me "i actually peed in my underwear a little bit."
