on new year's day, we went over to roro and papa's for stew. we played headbands again. such a fun game. the funniest part was when papa gave away the clue (Annie) 3 times in a row without malloy realizing or hearing it while the rest of us are telling him to stop talking. he didn't even realize he was doing it! silly papa!!! we all had a good laugh.
later, we had grandma val, grandpa don, uncle ryan, aunt kari, bella, addy, grandpa gary and jesse over for new year's dinner. we had pulled pork and mac and cheese. yum!!

we had a basketball game on saturday. the kids are improving. malloy loves it and rex likes it when he's in a good mood! ha!
on sunday, we went to grandpa gary's for dinner. malloy was thrilled that her cousins were there!!!! she loves bella to pieces and can't get enough of addy!!! she has a hard time because she wants to hold addy all the time but addy wants to do her own thing!

it was 11 degrees at the bus stop this morning!!! brrrrrr!!! our first taste of cold weather!
neal and i decided we're going to try to get the kids to watch less tv and be more active. i set up pillows all over the living room and kitchen and had them play the lava game. they ran around on the pillows for 45 minutes and got all sweaty and out of breath! success!!!
