spending some time drumming on grandma val's deck. they were hoping their spirit animals would pay a visit. rex's was a sea lion and malloy's was a zebra :)

 we finally had a nice day!!!! the kids were so excited to be OUT and RUNNING and JUMPING and CLIMBING!

rex loves to wake malloy up in the morning. they cuddle under her blankets usually. so cute!

malloy's school had an ice cream social and book fair at her school. it was jam packed but super fun!!!

for the month of february, i put a heard on the kids' door every night saying something that i love about them. malloy remembered this from last year and talked about it all through the month of january! rex would wake up almost every morning and literally burst into tears and/or get very angry about the color of his heart on his door. it got to the point where for him, i had to ask him what color heart he wanted the next day and what it should say so that he wouldn't wake up and be in a terrible mood!!
