the flight back from the north pole tired joey out!

we went to the gym and then to safina and emery's for a playdate. we got to walk and pick safina up from school. malloy was super excited about it! she couldn't wait to play with safina! they had a great time together!

after quiet time today, the kids took showers and then put on their new christmas pjs! they spent a lot of time playing with the manger i put out under the tree and then added on to the scene with all of their other little people!

rex is peeing and pooping in his underwear!!! such a bummer! he was doing so well!!!! guess it's time for a potty chart!

At night, the kids tell us secrets before they go to bed. Tonight Rex whispered to neal "I love you more than chicken to the moon and back"

rex and i went to the gym this morning while malloy was at school. while i was getting dressed and ready to go get malloy from school, i heard a crash. rex was playing with the ornaments and the tree fell right on top of him!!! he was ok, just got a few scratches. 

after lunch, the kids did great having quiet time in their rooms!!! phew!! it's starting to work!!! and they go right to bed! (for the most part!!) 

rex took malloy's stroller away from her and while i was trying to tell him to give it back, he hit me. i put him in time out. he was sitting in time out and said "i need to go tell joey i say sorry to malloy". he really gets that joey reports to santa!!

malloy was excited to wake up and find joey this morning! he was hanging out with the rudolph  pig!

"i don't want to take a nap, i just want quiet time." 20 minutes later, " mom, i'm really tired"

"I made a monster. You need to draw underpants on him because his butt's sticking out, look I drawed two cracks (butt cracks)."

we got a surprise visit this morning from our new friend, joey the elf!!! the kids were so excited to see the kitchen table all decked out in santa/christmas stuff!!! they love joey and make him "watch" them while they're playing, eating, whatever!
