"all i can think about is..."

rex was watching tv the other morning and had clearly just been picking his nose. neal looked over at him and rex said "all i can think about is eating this booger! my whole body just wants to eat this booger!" what a nut! he always keeps us on our toes.

this morning, i told rex that he couldn't play computer games yet and he went in and turned the computer on anyway. this led to no computer games for the entire day. after nap (yes nap!!! he actually napped!!) he was walking in circles saying "mom, all i can think about is computer games. that's the only thing fun" sorry buddy!

end of october

we finally went and checked out the little library down the road and were pleasantly surprised to find that the basement was entirely for kids! woo! they had toys to play with, pillows to throw on the floor and sit on, stuffed animals and so many fun books!

 i chaperoned rex's class field trip to stoughton's. we went in the corn maze, played in the corn kernels, had some cider and donuts, went for a hayride, fed the chickens, and played on the playground! it was a busy morning!!!

 it was gorgeous out so we raked up some leaves and had some fun!!!!

 the school had a fall festival night. we went with grandma val and grandpa don and had some halloween fun!!

 we went to iron kettle with grandma val and grandpa don! the kids loved it!!! we were there for 3 hours!!! pumpkin people, rides, games, obstical courses, food - what's not to love?!

 we went to a pumpkin carving party at cindy and wayne's house. we had chili and carved pumpkins. they turned out great!!!

halloween dance party! 

 happy haloween! what a day!!! we went to morning meeting and watched malloy get her nathan t hall of fame award. so proud of her!!! then went home and got rex's snack ready for his party. went to rex's halloween party, ran to the bank to sign papers, went to malloy's halloween party and then walked in her parade! she came home and we got ready to go visit family and trick or treat. we went to aunt amy's, grandma jean and grandpa bruce's, roro and papa's, grandma tappy and grandpa gary's and then the tomazin's. baby julianna was there - she's 6 months and the kids LOVED her. they were all over her and played with her for an hour or so! they told me they wish they could have one - ha!

 november 1st - malloy picked out her own clothes for grandpa everett's 80th brithday dinner. future fashionista!
